I'm a INFM-CNR (National Institute for Matter Physics - National Research Council) researcher mainly concerned with data analysis, or learning from data. In the period 1998-2007 the data I analyzed were normally produced by Electronic Noses, which are instruments that should recognize odors. Around 2006 I have begun analyzing also DNA microarray data, concentrating on gene selection. Since June 2008 and until November 2009 I'm on leave of absence at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics in Berlin. Consider partecipating at ISOEN 2009, to be held in Brescia 15-17 April, 2009:
